Optical Coherence Tomography Angiography (OCT-A)

OCT-A images blood flow or the lack thereof within the retina layers.  It also demonstrates new flow or neovascularization where none should exist. It is a non-invasive test and does not require injection of dye unlike fluorescein angiography (FA).
